Sintal S 408/75 RM

SINTAL S 408/75 RM is a weakly thixotropic long-oil alkyd, containing special unsaturated fatty acids, particularly recommended for air-drying enamels for the “Decorative- Architectural” sector, ideal for “brush” products. Its low thixotropy allows to obtain an excellent verticality but combined with an excellent “brushability”. Has very low propensity to yellowing and a proven gloss retention. Furthermore, it can be additived using a traditional mixture of dryers and also using cobalt-free or polymeric. It is compatible with medium and long oil alkyds, with resins used for universal pastes, while it has limited compatibility with phenolic and maleic resins.
