Ink Packaging & O.P.V.
Ink Packaging involves the inks used for printing on various types of packaging materials, including paper, cardboard, plastics, and metals. These inks must have specific properties related to adhesion, rub resistance, lightfastness, and compatibility with the packaging content.
Over Print Varnishes (O.P.V.) are clear coatings applied over printed inks on packaging or other printed materials. They provide protection against scuffing, smudging, and moisture, and can also enhance the gloss or matte finish of the printed surface.
