Italester 205 BB
ITALESTER 205 BB is a “new-generation” oil-free linear saturated polyester with bio-balanced monomer components for can coatings compliant with EU Regulation 10/2011, suitable for primers or OPV (overprint varnishes) for metal packaging in the Can & Food Packaging sectors. It can be crosslinked with both resins Itamin benzoguanamine or melamine series and with blocked isocyanates (e.g. URONAL BN75). ITALESTER 205 BB is more flexible than ITALESTER 203 and has good adhesion to steel or galvanized steel and aluminum, with high resistance to sterilization. It is complies with European legislation EU Reg. 10/2011 for indirect contact with food (Swiss Ordinance RS 817.023.21 Annex 6, Part A or B).
