Italester 501 WW

ITALESTER 501 WW is a weakly branched hydroxylated oil-free polyester, that can be crosslinked with amino resins (e.g. ITAMIN BG series) or blocked isocyanates (URONAL BN 75). It is ideal for wet-on-wet or wet on dry applications of OPV (overprint varnishes) for metals in the can coating market; furthermore, suitable for producing coatings with excellent adhesion and elasticity-formability, while ensuring good surface hardness. For this reason, ITALESTER 501 WW paints and enamels are particularly suitable also for overprint varnishes that can also be crosslinked with U.V. systems.
