Italester CM3

ITALESTER CM3 is an oil- and aromatic-free saturated polyester, compliant with heavy metal and allergen content, used in Cosmetics systems as a high-solids plasticizer. It provides good surface hardness and abrasion resistance, providing excellent flow properties and gloss retention. ITALESTER CM3 is compatible with mains nitrocellulose, although it is always advisable to verify compatibility or solubility with preliminary tests to avoid unwanted incompatibility phenomena. Analyzed according to EPA 6020B:2014 and UNI EN ISO 21392:2021 methods, the product is suitable for Cosmetic use, with impurities levels in line with the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.
