MITTEL 6772

MITTEL 6772 is an accelerator additive for 2K (two-component) polyurethane products, both clear and pigmented. Its key property is its ability to accelerate the crosslinking process, which improves the drying of chemically cured systems. It also increases the film’s scratch resistance, hardness, and mechanical properties. The chemical nature of MITTEL 6772 has no visible impact on the yellowing resistance of the dried film. However, in the presence of reactive isocyanates, it significantly reduces pot life. This effect is less pronounced when aromatic adducts (such as URONAL P 75 N.ST) or aliphatic isocyanates (such as URONAL NL; NL 100) are used.
