SINTAL R 235/60 X

SINTAL R 235/60 X is a long-oil alkyd resin mainly studied as a flexibilizing polymer and can replace many classic plasticizers since it does not tend to migrate even at working temperatures around 60-70 °C. In the field of baked products, the main use of this resin is to flexibilize heavily filled bases, to which it gives excellent adhesion and considerable resistance to ageing. SINTAL R 235/60 X in the nitro-based products for Industrial Wood, replaces the Normal plasticizers and gives the film an appreciable resistance to the “cold-check” test; moreover, it has a specific importance in the production of NC base varnishes for leather, where it is used as a single resin and/or in blends with castor oil, which gives the film special characteristics of flexibility, adhesion and schratch. SINTAL R 235/60 X is used in “acid catalysis” paints for Industrial Wooden floors, to which it gives brilliance and film fullness, associated with excellent resistance to abrasion.
