Synteven 742

SYNTEVEN 742 is a styrene-free unsaturated polyester resin in TMPDE of the direct gloss type in very reactive and very high gloss Butyl Acetate. It is used in the formulation of “direct gloss” paints both as a primer and top-coat transparent and pigmented with high hardness, excellent flow and easy sanding for the wood and furniture sector. It is applied with traditional catalysis using a highly reactive accelerator/peroxide or in U.V. systems  with suitable photo-initiators. Can also be cross-linked with aliphatic isocyanates such as URONAL NL to increase its flexibility and chemical resistance of the film together with adhesion to the substrate or interlayer.
