MITTEL 6763

MITTEL 6763 is a silicone-free anti-bubble/antifoam agent for solvent-free systems. It is particularly effective in direct gloss or paraffin polyester-based wood and furniture coatings, including UV-cured systems, or for unsaturated polyester paints that harden with both redox and UV systems, or acrylic/polyester hybrids. MITTEL 6763 helps curtain coater maintain web stability, even when applied in thin layers. Conversely, when used in non-pigmented systems, a slight cloudiness might be observed on dark-fiber wood. It can be introduced by simple stirring, ideally at the beginning of production, to prevent stable foam formation and cratering, which can occur due to the presence of zinc stearate as a sanding adjuvant.
