SINTAL A 212/60 X is an alkyd resin based on non-drying oils, designed for oven-baked and nitrocellulose systems, offering very short flash-off time and protective properties. In pigmented or transparent nitrocellulose coatings, it enhances solvent release and film formation, allowing a reduction in nitrocellulose content. In the wood sector, it is suitable for sandable primers, including those for forced drying. The resin is compatible with short oil alkyds, nitrocellulose and its plasticizers, urea, and melamine resins, and shows partial compatibility with castor oil. It is soluble in aromatics, esters, and ketones, but insoluble in aliphatics.
The product contains a percentage of raw materials derived from renewable sources between 17-19% in the form of supply.
