SINTAL F 42/75 X
SINTAL F 42/75 X is a short-oil alkyd resin from vegetable oils, ideal for industrial paints and enamels for wood and metal, with specific suitability for nitrocellulose-based coatings. It is also used in acid-catalyzed systems, providing high gloss, excellent filling power and film hardness, allowing the formulation of high-solids coatings. The resin can be combined with melamine resins (e.g. ITAMIN) for oven-baked enamels or with isocyanates (e.g. URONAL) for polyurethane paints. It is compatible with CAB, maleic and phenolic resins, amino resins and isocyanates, and is soluble in acetates, ketones, aromatics and glycol ethers, while being limited in alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
