SINTAL R 48/60 X
SINTAL R 48/60 X is a short oil castor-modified alkyd resin developed for 2K polyurethane paints in the wood and furniture sector. It offers rapid drying, high hardness, excellent adhesion, and good sandability, making it ideal for fast-hardening primers and topcoats, both transparent and pigmented. The resin shows excellent compatibility with FTALON and ITAMIN series, nitrocellulose, and can also be blended with maleic, rosin, and modified phenolic resins. It is soluble in aromatics, ketones, and ester-ethers, limitedly soluble in alcohols, and insoluble in aliphatics. Preliminary solubility/compatibility testing is recommended.
The product contains a percentage of raw materials derived from renewable sources between 22-24% in the form of supply.
